Five years ago, Braided Seeds was planted with a vision: to create space for Black communities to reconnect with land, culture, and collective healing. Since then, we've hiked trails, shared meals, built fires, and removed barriers for folks across the state to connect with the outdoors.
Now, we invite you to celebrate how far we’ve come—and to sow into what’s next.
This gathering will feature a silent auction, local food, and a keynote from Chandrika Francis of Oshun Swim School. We’ll reflect on our roots, honor the growth, and invest in the work ahead—together.
Your presence makes a difference. Whether you've walked with us since the beginning or are just getting to know us, you are part of this story.
Come celebrate with us. Come sow into our next season.
